Derrick Guo has over 15 years of experience as a corporate lawyer, combining legal expertise with a background in finance and accounting. Mr. Guo cofounded Traferox in 2021 and assumed the role of Chief Legal Officer. Since inception, Mr. Guo has overseen Traferox’s strategic contracting, licensing, intellectual property strategy, expansion of commercial activities, and litigation and corporate activities.
Prior to Traferox, Mr. Guo served as General Counsel at NOVADAQ Technologies Inc. since 2014, having served as external counsel from 2009. Mr. Guo was previously an associate at Stikeman Elliott LLP, specializing in corporate securities and mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Guo was also an associate Chartered Accountant at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP prior to his legal career.
